GTBH Recruitment 2011 for Junior and Senior Residents

GTBH or GTB Hospital or Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital is a 1500 bedded hospital and medical college established in 1979 by the Government. It is located at NCR of Delhi. It is attached to University College of Medical Science. It provide various emergency services in the department of Medicine, Surgery, Burns, Trauma, Gynaecology, Paediatrics and Obstetrics. It is recognised as one of the best hospitals of India.
GTB Hospital, Delhi intends to fill up the posts of Resident Doctors for a period of 6 months on tenure basis. For this it invites applications from Indian Nationals and interested candidates with the degree of MBBS can apply latest by3rd October 2011 by sending an application form in a  prescribed format.
Total 255 vacancies are available. Out of this, 117 posts are for Senior Residents and rest 138 are for Junior Residents. Senior Residents are for the discipline of Psychiatry, Radiology, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Biochemistry, Obst. & Gynae, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Microbiology, Medicine, Microbiology, Pathology, Surgery, Dental, Burns & Plastics, Anaesthesia, Dermatology, ENT and Ophthalmology.
Pay scale : Both of these positions are under the pay scale of Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with relevant grade pay.
Age limit : Candidates age should not be more than 40 years as on 3rd September 2011.
Qualification : Degree of MBBS and masters degree along with registration with DMC / DDC are required for all the posts. But addition to this, candidates applying for the post of Senior Residents should posses diploma or 2 years of experience.
Selection will be based on interview which is going to be held between 11th October 2011 to 18th October 2011 at 2 PM while candidates has to come on 19th and 20th October 2011 at 12.00 noon. Interview will be at the Room no. 331, 3rd Floor, Administration Block, GTB Hospital, New Delhi.
