Rain Forest Research Institute [ RFRI ] was established in 1988. It is a constituent institute under Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education. It is located at Assam. It impart education and research facility for forest related issues mainly in north eastern states of India. It is an ISO 27001:2005 certified institute. It also provide education through high speed and reliable internet facility. It consists of 6 laboratories under different divisions for conducting various research activities.

3 posts are for Technical Assistant, 1 post is for Lower Division Clerk, 1 post is for Driver and 1 post is for Multi-Tasking Staff under the pay scale of Rs.5200-20200/-. Candidates applying for the post of Technical Assistant and Driver should be between 18-25 years of age. For the post of Lower Division Clerk age limit is between 18-27 years and for the post of Multi-Tasking Staff, age of the candidates should be between 18-30 years.
Candidates applying for the posts of Technical Assistant and Lower Division Clerk should have passed Senior Secondary from recognized Board with good knowledge of computer. Typing Speed required should be of 35 word per minute in English while, 30 word per minute in Hindi on computer is essential for Lower Division Clerk post. For Driver and Multi-Tasking Staff candidates should have passed Matric and should posses certificate of ITI in the relevant trade. Candidates applying for Driver posts should have one year of driving experience and Computer knowledge is essential for Multi-Tasking Staff post.
